OxCam Scholars At-a-Glance

  • OxCam Program currently consists of 108 PhD and MD/PhD Scholars
  • OxCam Scholars are performing research in 18 NIH Institutes and Centers
  • Scholars publish an average of 5 manuscripts, including 2 as first-author
  • 90% of OxCam Scholars complete the doctoral degree requirements
  • Average time to degree completion is 4.3 years
  • There are currently 268 OxCam Program alumni

 

OxCam Program Application and Admissions Timeline

  • NIH Graduate Partnership Program (GPP) application portal opens in August
  • Applications are due in December
  • Applicants selected to interview are notified in January
  • Program interviews occur in February
  • Candidates are notified of their admission status by the end of February
  • Admitted students must provide final decision by May
  • Incoming Scholars confirm the NIH and UK mentors by June
  • OxCam Program officially begins in August
