The NIH Oxford-Cambridge Scholars Program has developed noteworthy affiliations ranging from private individuals to world-renowned philanthropic organizations.
Affiliations have been established with the prestigious Rhodes Trust, Marshall Scholarship, and the Gates-Cambridge Scholarship to allow their extremely accomplished award recipients to extend their research projects into PhDs through collaborative research at the NIH.
The International Biomedical Research Alliance (The Alliance) is a philanthropic organization dedicated to the support of the NIH Oxford-Cambridge Scholars Program. The Alliance has provided opportunities for the students to explore dimensions of risk taking, creativity, collaboration, team building and other important elements of scientific leadership. Through collaboration between the The Alliance and The Albert and Mary Lasker Foundation (The Lasker Foundation), scholars have had opportunities to engage distinguished scientists and recipients of the annual Lasker Awards.
The Lasker foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving health by accelerating support for medical research through recognition of research excellence, public education and advocacy.
The Foundation for Advanced Education in the Sciences (FAES) is a non-profit foundation dedicated to support the training of biomedical researchers at the NIH through advanced educational programs. The Alliance has worked with FAES to help provide resources for the Scholars to live, work, travel, and develop scientifically and professionally.
